Vespa Expands Its Range of Electric Scooters
The prestigious Vespa brand has expanded its catalog of electric vehicles by incorporating the new Sprint S and Primavera Elettrica models.
The latter is now accessible through an attractive Long-Term Rental formula.
Previously, opting for a Vespa electric scooter meant a significant investment of 6999 euros for their sole available model, but the equation has changed.
Two Electrified Additions to the Vespa Fleet
Announced at the Milan show in 2023, two additional scooters have joined the Vespa range and have embraced electric power – with removable batteries to boot!
These new entries, specifically the Primavera Elettrica and the Sprint S Elettrica, reposition the cost of access to Vespa’s iconic retro style.
The Primavera Elettrica is priced at 5199 euros and the Sprint S Elettrica at 5299 euros, both in version 45 (50cc simulator).
A Competitive Financing Offer
In response to a growing demand for more accessible financing options, Vespa has launched a limited offer until March 30, 2024.
This Lease with Purchase Option (LPO) allows fans of the brand to take the helm of an electric Primavera for less than 60 euros per month.
Details of the Lease with Purchase Option Offer
This proposal is established for a period of 36 months with a mileage allowance of 15,000 km.
The initial payment required is 1475 euros, but is reduced to 900 euros after applying the ecological bonus.
Adding up the initial payment and the 35 monthly installments of 58.05 euros, the total commitment is 2931.75 euros.
The residual value for purchasing the scooter at the end of the contract is 2378.54 euros, for a final cost of 5310.29 euros.
The Real Cost of Credit
After subtracting the initial sale price of the electric scooter from this total, we find that the real cost of credit amounts to 111.29 euros for three years of use.
Not to mention that if the intention is to return the scooter at the end of the financing, the cost of use will still have reached 2931.75 euros.
The Vespa Primavera Elettrica in Detail
The version on promotion is capable of reaching 45 km/h and is powered by a 3.1 kW motor with 200 Nm of torque.
It is equipped with a 2.3 kWh battery (48 volts, 48 Ah), offering a range of about 68 kilometers and requires four hours for a 0 to 80% recharge.
However, the mobility of this battery is affected by its weight of 15 kilos, which may be a consideration for users.
