Innovation in the field of electric vehicles is constantly accelerating and the company Murtas is enriching its two-wheeler offering by unveiling its latest creations: the electric motorcycles TX and TX Evo.
These machines add to Murtas’s range of products and offer an alternative to existing models, particularly the Zero FXE. This revelation is scheduled as part of the Salon du 2 Roues in Lyon.
Features and performance of the TX range
The new line of Murtas electric motorcycles is based on a unique platform that serves as the foundation for the two variants of the TX.
To unveil these two machines, it is observed that the technical differentiations are mainly in the performance of their motors.
The first model, the standard Murtas TX, is equipped with an electric motor capable of delivering a peak power of 12 kW, pushing the motorcycle to a maximum speed of 110 km/h. As for its overboosted sister, the TX Evo, it goes further by deploying a power of 18 kW that allows it to reach 125 km/h.
For both versions, the torque at the wheel reaches 350 Nm, thanks to a high-performance permanent magnet motor.
Autonomy and charging: flexibility for users
Both models are equipped with an identical battery with an energy capacity of 4.2 kWh (72 V – 58 Ah).
The autonomy varies between 50 and 150 km depending on the usage conditions, a range that reflects the flexibility of the motorcycles for various types of journeys.
The full recharge of the battery requires only 2 to 3 hours thanks to the 22A charger, thus ensuring daily use without major constraints.
Design and price of Murtas electric motorcycles
The Murtas TX, fitted with 19-inch wheels, is designed to guarantee both performance and comfort.
It is equipped with an inverted fork at the front and an adjustable gas shock absorber at the rear.
For the moment, the company has not yet revealed the price of these models, information that enthusiasts and future customers eagerly await.
Pre-orders are however already possible, with delivery planning starting in June 2024.
