The Nerva EXE II is unveiled at the Lyon two-wheel exhibition with increased performance
At the Lyon two-wheel exhibition, the electric scooter brand Nerva introduced the Nerva EXE II, a model that is improved in terms of performance compared to its predecessor.
This second opus is mainly distinguished by a substantial increase in power, with the electric motor now peaking at 19 kW compared to 12 kW for the original model. This increase also allows the top speed to move from 125 to 130 km/h, thus nearing the category reference, the BMW CE 04.
Notable improvements of the Nerva EXE II
An optimized battery pack
In order to improve its energy performance, the Nerva EXE II incorporates Blade technology designed by BYD.
The new battery pack now enjoys an increased capacity, going from 5.76 to 7.83 kWh. This development would theoretically allow for a maximum range of 180 km.
In addition, there is the enticing promise of a five-year warranty on the battery offered by the manufacturer.
A more efficient recharge
The recharge capacity also improves, with intensity moving from 1.8 to 3.3 kW thanks to the adoption of a Type 2 connector.
These changes allow it to stay in line with the capacity increase of the battery pack and offer the possibility of achieving a full recharge in just about two hours forty minutes.
Technology and equipment
The new Nerva EXE II does not neglect its technological component.
It is equipped with an 8.8-inch OLED dashboard, a keyless start system, ABS, as well as an innovative remote diagnostic system. Although the sale price of this revised version has not been officially revealed, it is expected to be slightly higher than that of the base model, offered around 8,000 €.
Other innovations to discover from the brand
Meeting with the Nerva Lift
The exhibition was also an opportunity to present the Nerva Lift, a more modest variant of the EXE II.
This maxi-scooter for the city combines a 10 kW motor with a 4.15 kWh battery. Its features grant it a maximum speed of 105 km/h and a range between 70 and 130 km.
The Nerva Cargo, between electric scooter and motorcycle
Targeting professionals, the Nerva Cargo offers a compromise between scooter and electric motorcycle and is distinguished by a substantial loading capacity.
Thanks to its 11 kW of power and its 5.22 kWh battery, it can reach a maximum speed of 100 km/h and offers a range of 105 to 140 km depending on the driving style.
