Zero Motorcycles and Zongshen: an alliance for two new electric off-road models
Presentation of the electric models XB and XE
Zero Motorcycles and Zongshen have joined forces to expand their range of electric motorcycles with two new off-road models: the XB and the XE. Although compliant with road regulations, these motorcycles are primarily designed for off-road use and are comparable to 125 cc combustion models.
Performance and characteristics of the Zero XE model
The Zero XE stands out with an impressive torque of 630 Nm, equivalent to 465 lb.ft, and reaches a top speed of 85 km/h. Its range is around 104 km, thanks to a 4.3 kWh battery requiring 5.5 hours for a full charge. A category A1 license is mandatory to ride this model. Technically, it is equipped with fully adjustable suspensions on both wheels, with an 18-inch front wheel and a 21-inch rear wheel.
Simplicity and efficiency of the Zero XB model
In a more stripped-down approach, the Zero XB offers a power of 9.8 horsepower and a torque of 373 Nm. It is equipped with a 2.4 kWh battery that recharges in three hours. Its top speed is 45 km/h, and both wheels are 19 inches in diameter. Like the XE, this model features adjustable suspensions at the front and rear.
