Ultraviolette, The Indian Electric Motorcycle on the Road to Europe
At the heart of zero-emission vehicle innovation, a novel company from India stands out: Ultraviolette Automotive.
Founded recently, this company has quickly made its mark with the launch of its first model, the F77.
With its sporty roadster look and enticing characteristics, this electric motorcycle is on track to charm European enthusiasts of clean and high-performance two-wheelers. Its avant-garde design and technical potential make it a serious “game-changer”.
Ultraviolette’s International Expansion
Far from being limited to its national territory, Ultraviolette has developed a strategic plan to conquer the international market.
Europe is among the first stops on this global journey, with an arrival scheduled for the second quarter of 2024.
While the specifics of its establishment on the continent remain to be confirmed, hopes and expectations are high for a transition to a greener and quieter mobility.
Performance and Autonomy: Ultraviolette’s Bet
The F77 of Ultraviolette has plenty of arguments to convince: with a motor offering 27 KW of power for the Original, or 36 horsepower, and 85 Nm of torque, it promises blinding accelerations and a top speed that is most respectable.
The Recon and Space Edition variants are even bolder, offering up to 41 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque, allowing it to reach breathtaking speeds for an electric motorcycle.
In terms of autonomy, Ultraviolette hits hard with figures that captivate attention: the standard version announces up to 206 km, while the superior models could reach 307 km, enough to reassure the viability of electric motorcycles for long distances. Of course, these figures, though optimistic, remain to be confirmed under our European latitudes.
When it comes to recharging, the promise of a quick mileage gain adds to the product’s attractiveness, with enticing rapid charging options.
Limited Editions and Attractive Prices
The F77 also made a splash with a limited Space Edition series, which sold out in a minute and a half, demonstrating the brand’s excitement.
The starting price, less than 6200 euros after conversion, places the F77 in a price range that defies competition. However, the reality of the European market, with its additional costs, remains to be considered.
Records and Recognition Already Secured
In 2023, the Ultraviolette F77 has already made an impression, notably with a journey of more than 6700 km realized by one of its first owners, thus setting records in India and Asia.
This true challenge proved the resilience and reliability of this electric model even before its arrival on European soil. Recognition was not forthcoming, with several awards from specialized media, thus highlighting its revolutionary potential.
So we just have to wait for this Indian technological feat to surge onto Europe, possibly undergoing a revolution similar to the one already started in its country of origin.
