Trek, the famous American manufacturer, unveils an innovative bike bell capable of transforming into a Bluetooth speaker. This model, named BellBeats, was designed in partnership with Harman, renowned for audio brands such as Harman Kardon, JBL, and AKG.
Versatile features
The BellBeats offers 8 pre-recorded sounds ranging from cordial to urgent. Trek had the good idea to integrate a classic bell sound to avoid any confusion. Additionally, this compact speaker easily attaches to the handlebar with a provided mount and can also be attached to a backpack strap, clothing, or even a tent canvas.
Multiple uses
This small speaker allows not only to listen to music while riding but also to follow GPS voice instructions. It can also emit a continuous bell sound, ideal for signaling presence on trails.
Autonomy and price
Running on battery, the BellBeats offers up to 6 hours of autonomy and recharges via a USB-C port, with the cable included. The announced price is €119.99, a considerable amount for a small portable speaker. We will soon compare it to other models to give you our opinion.
