Thule launches the EasyFold 3 bike carrier for 2025
Thule has revised and relaunched its EasyFold XT bike carrier for the 2025 season, adapting it for better capacity to transport electric bikes and renaming it Thule EasyFold 3. Already renowned for its excellent bike carriers for electric bikes, Thule has modified the design of the EasyFold clamp to accommodate frames up to 90mm in diameter, good news for electric bikes equipped with large capacity batteries.
The security of the clamp is crucial, especially for electric bikes, and this improvement addresses a common concern of users with the older models, especially on mountain bikes. The Thule EasyFold 3 can support a weight of up to 30kg per wheel tray, with sufficient length for the large wheels and relaxed angles of modern mountain bikes. A fourth battery can be added with an adapter for children’s bikes.
The new arm of the EasyFold 3 bike carrier uses a quick and easy mounting system, with a swiveling head and soft padding to protect the bike on the go. A reinforced strap ensures the stability of the bike during transport. A pair of integrated lights increases the vehicle’s visibility on the road, and the overall design is intended to harmonize with modern vehicles.
The Thule EasyFold 3 will be available from September 30 at a price of €949.95, with prices for the UK market available on Thule.com as well as local retailers.
