A breakthrough in battery technology
Battery technology is evolving rapidly, and batteries for electric vehicles are no exception to this rule.
Vmoto recently unveiled a promising battery prototype capable of recharging from 0 to 80% in just half an hour. It is a fast-charging battery, ideal for urban two-wheel mobility. Its capacity is reduced compared to the standard version as it is a smaller battery. On the other hand, standard batteries take about 160 minutes (2 hours and 40 minutes) to fully recharge.
Two battery options for customers
A scooter model will offer two battery options, allowing customers to choose the one that best meets their needs. This battery is specially designed for B2B use, such as delivery services.
Comparison with gasoline motorcycles
According to The Pack, the presentation of this battery in Misano also included a comparative test between three Vmoto L3 scooters and three gasoline motorcycles, aiming to demonstrate that the two types of motorcycles are now equivalent.
