DAB Motors unveils customized electric motorcycles
Under the direction of Peugeot Motocycles, DAB Motors presents a new collection of customized motorcycles. These unique models, based on the electric motorcycle DAB 1α, pay tribute to five major sports disciplines, just before the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games.
A celebration of sports
The French brand DAB Motors, acquired by Peugeot Motocycles in 2023, launches a special series called “In Glory of Sport.” This project features five electric motorcycles, each boasting a distinct design in homage to different sports: surfing, basketball, skateboarding, tennis, and boxing. Designed by the DAB Custom Studio, these bikes flaunt specific colors: blue for surfing, yellow for basketball, black for skateboarding, green for tennis, and red for boxing. Each model is also equipped with accessories corresponding to the celebrated sport, such as a space for a surfboard or a basket for tennis balls.
Technical specifications of the special series
Based on the technical foundation of the DAB 1α, these customized motorcycles retain the same mechanical configuration. They are powered by a 25.5 kW motor paired with a 7.1 kWh battery. More powerful than the BMW CE 02, they fall into the 125 electric motorcycle category and can reach a top speed of 130 km/h with a range of 150 km per charge.
Limited to only 400 units, this special series is offered at a price around €15,000.
