New Nakamura Crossover Native S LTD from Intersport
General Presentation
The Nakamura Crossover Native S LTD enters the range of electric bikes from Intersport, offered at €1199. Unlike Decathlon, which has opted for high-end models, Intersport focuses more on entry-level electric bikes. This new model is the perfect illustration.
Main Features
This Crossover Native S LTD, classified in the electric VTC category, takes up the main features of the Nakamura Crossover S launched last year. It is equipped with a 45 Nm NAKA HUB ONE motor located in the rear wheel and a 375 Wh battery integrated into the frame. With the lowest of the 5 available assistance levels, the range reaches about 60 km per charge.
Equipment and Design
The bike configuration remains unchanged with front and rear disc brakes, a 7-speed Shimano Altus transmission, and a fork with 65 mm of travel. The 28-inch wheels and a weight of 23 kilograms with the battery complete the package. The new features lie in the addition of a MIK-compatible luggage rack supporting up to 27 kilograms and an elegant blue color for the frame, a rather rare choice in the Intersport range.
Availability and Price
The Nakamura Crossover Native S LTD is offered in three sizes and available on the Intersport website for €1199.99. Although the price-quality ratio is correct, its small motor limits it in terms of climbing. For more demanding journeys, it would be preferable to opt for the Nakamura Crossover V from Intersport, sold for €500 more, which offers a motor integrated into the crankset and a larger capacity battery.
The Nakamura Crossover Native S LTD is presented as an interesting option for users looking for an entry-level electric bike. The subtle additions such as the luggage rack and the new blue color bring a slight differentiation from the previous model while maintaining an affordable price. However, for increased performance, other models from Intersport might be more suitable.
