First electric mountain bike marketed by Lidl: Fischer Montis 6.0i
The Fischer Montis 6.0i is the first full-suspension electric mountain bike marketed by Lidl. It features a Brose S motor and a 504 Wh battery, offering characteristics comparable to some models in the Decathlon Rockrider range.
Innovation in the electric bike segment
Lidl has recently expanded its offer in the electric bike market. After launching the Crivit range, the brand introduced the Fischer Montis 6.0i in Germany. This model benefits from a collaboration with the Swiss manufacturer Fischer, already well known in France.
Technical characteristics
Technically, the Fischer Montis 6.0i is equipped with a Brose S motor integrated into the crankset, delivering a torque of 90 Nm. The 504 Wh (36V-14 Ah) battery allows for a range of 30 to 50 km per charge, suitable for short to medium rides.
Regarding the bike itself, Lidl’s mountain bike features a “full suspension” frame with a Rockshox Recon fork and a Rockshox Monarch shock, each offering 150 mm of travel. The 27.5-inch tires, advertised as Maxxis 66 mm wide, are paired with Clarcks disc brakes and a 12-speed Sram SX derailleur.
Availability
For now, the Fischer Montis 6.0i is exclusively available in Germany and has already experienced stock shortages. Its price is set at under €2,600, placing it in the same price range as models in Decathlon’s Rockrider E-EXPL series.
