A new approach for electric two-wheelers
Adaptability and innovation at the heart of the Ekka platform
Designed on a unique basis, the Ekka platform from the Belin studio is suitable for manufacturing both motorcycles and electric scooters. This concept, already known in the automotive sector to optimize development phases and reduce production costs, now finds its place in the field of electric two-wheelers.
A circular design for urban mobility
The first adventure of the Indonesian studio Belin in mobility, the Ekka platform focuses on “circular design” to allow, from the same frame, to design two different vehicles. When oriented downwards, the frame becomes the base of the CS-1, a compact urban electric scooter. Conversely, in the high position, this same frame gives rise to the M-1 Performance, a sporty electric motorcycle. This plug & play solution greatly simplifies the design steps.
Technical characteristics and innovations
Belin remains discreet about the technical specifications. We simply see motors integrated into the wheels of each concept. With the Ekka platform, the Belin studio innovates by adopting circular design, thus meeting the varied needs of urban users with unprecedented flexibility and efficiency.
