According to an advisory published this Monday, June 17th on the official government website, the scooter has « a structure that poses a risk of injury or fall during its use ». Furthermore, it mentions a potential danger of « electric shock » to the user. The advisory does not detail the issue extensively, but it seems that some electrical cables may be poorly insulated.
The proposed repair solution consists of replacing the charger cable and adding a second layer of insulation on some existing electrical cables. Certain features like the cruise control or assisted start are also disabled under some conditions, although the advisory does not specify why.
