The Cube Editor Hybrid, an avant-garde model in the urban bicycles field, has joined the Cube range this season.
Based on a high-flying fitness bike, the Editor has now been transformed by the addition of an electric motor system.
Design and Performance of the Cube Editor Hybrid
While maintaining the minimalist and sporty aesthetic of its muscular predecessor, the Cube Editor Hybrid stands out with its integration of the Bosch Performance Line SX motor.
This choice gives the bike remarkable power and a style that does not deny its mechanical origins, despite the presence of an imposing 400 Wh battery discreetly housed along the downtube.
The weight remains an asset with a range of 17.2 to 17.8 kg empty and up to 19.2 kg equipped, thus offering an ideal compromise between robustness and agility.
Innovation continues with the adoption of an interactive console placed on the top head tube rather than a traditional handlebar display, connectable to the Bosch eBike Flow app, for a more immersive and ergonomic user experience.
Variants and Options of the Cube Editor Hybrid
Available in five variants, the Editor Hybrid range meets a variety of needs and budgets:
- Pro: Shimano Cues 10-speed, MT200 brakes, Continental tires, starting at €2,499.
- Pro FE: addition of mudguards, lighting, rack, and kickstand for €2,699.
- SLX: transmission belt, Shimano Alfine 8-speed hub, at €2,699.
