Summary
Electric motorcycles and environmental benefits
Electric motorcycles offer certain ecological advantages, but they naturally differ in handling and noise from classic models. To address the latter point, Balistron offers a solution that brings these motorcycles closer to the typical sound of traditional models.
Presentation of the TS16.12
The Turkish company Balistron launched the development of its fully electric model in 2022 and recently presented it at EICMA: the sporty TS16.12. One of the strengths of this model is the integration of two fake exhaust pipes, which are actually speakers simulating the sound of a four-cylinder sports motorcycle.
Technical details
The TS16.12’s motor delivers a power of 16 kW, suitable for A1 license holders. Its maximum speed is limited to 130 km/h, and its estimated range is 230 km thanks to its 11.52 kWh lithium-ion battery. A fast charger allows the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in less than two hours.
