Polestar, Volvo’s premium brand, makes a noticeable entry into the field of electric-assisted bikes. Partnering with Swedish company Allebike, it launches a limited edition of this first electric mountain bike model.
Advanced technology and high-quality components
The electric mountain bike Allebike Elize Polestar Engineered stands out with its Shimano EP8 motor integrated into the crankset, offering 85 Nm of torque, and a 750 Wh battery hidden within the frame for an elegant look. The bike also features premium cycle components, including Öhlins suspensions with a 170 mm RXF38 fork at the front and a 160 mm TTX2Air shock absorber at the rear.
Remarkable design and performance
The bike is equipped with a carbon frame and Schwalbe Magic Mary tires, configured with 29’’ at the front and 27.5’’ at the rear for optimal stability. The 12-speed Shimano XT transmission, combined with high-quality components, ensures exceptional performance on all terrains. The entire setup weighs 22.8 kg, including the battery.

The Polestar electric mountain bike is offered at a price of €8,900, reflecting its premium features and advanced technology. Compared to a Citroën AMI priced at €7,900 before any ecological bonus, the bike is aimed at a knowledgeable and demanding audience.
